Incredible Years
AYSP also offers The Incredible Years Program which includes: a) The Incredible Years Basic Parent Training Program- a structured curriculum designed for parents/caregivers of a child age 3 to 8 who is exhibiting oppositional, conduct, or hyperactive disordered behavior; and b) The Dina Dinosaur Social Skills program – a structured, small-group children’s training program designed to promote appropriate classroom behaviours, positive social skills, and non-aggressive ways to solve common conflicts.
The Incredible Years program runs for 13 consecutive sessions, 2 hours per week, and is offered once per year (winter). The Dina program, for children age 4 to 8, is a sub-component of the Incredible Years curriculum and is run by AYSP in conjunction with the Basic Parent program.
